The Turquoise Trail, otherwise known as NM14 or North 14, is "The Country Backroad from Albuquerque to Santa Fe." Realizing its unique qualities, a group of citizens worked hard and had it declared a National Scenic Byway in the late 1990's.

Stretching for 61 miles/98 km. between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, the Trail not only has an abundance of scenery, but also has a large number of attractions such as galleries, restaurants, and museums.

Besides being popular with tourists, the Trail has a thriving and diverse community of residents who live there simply because it's a great place!
